Traditional courses follow a grammar-first structure. You learn rules, complete exercises, and move to the next unit. The problem is that understanding a rule and being able to use it in a real conversation are two completely different things. Many people finish entire courses and still freeze the moment someone speaks to them.

A speaking-focused course flips that. You practice using the language before you fully understand every rule behind it, which is closer to how you learned your first language. Grammar becomes something you absorb through use, not something you study in isolation and then try to apply.

No. LALIA runs courses from complete beginner level upward. If you have never studied German before, you will start with a group at the same level and build from there. If you already have some German but struggle to speak it, there is a level for that too.

The intro call is used to find out where you actually are, not just where you think you are. From there you get placed in the right group.

One hour a day. That is all. It is designed to fit around a working schedule, not replace it.

You join a live online session with up to 8 other students and your teacher. The teacher introduces a topic or scenario, and the class works through it by talking. You are not watching slides or copying notes. You are speaking, responding, and being understood.

The teacher corrects you when it is useful and moves the conversation forward when it is not. The goal is to keep you talking, not to stop you every time you make a small error.

Yes. Lessons run in the morning and in the evening, so you can pick what fits your routine. If you work during the day, evening slots are available. If your mornings are free, you can start there instead.

In order to get the best deal you pay everything all at once. However, we do have a three-time installment option if you prefer. Note that this option has an 87€ fee associated with it, so it costs a little more, but we have that choice for you if you want it.

Since our classes are live, we do not have any sample or demo classes available. Typically, we schedule a placement call after you sign up and register for classes, but we can set that up for you now instead.

You can have a short conversation with our German language expert, and he will recommend the course level for you. You will also get a feel for how a "typical" class works, so you can see for yourself if our school is a good fit for you.

While learning a language is different for everyone, you can expect to make significant progress with your speaking confidence regardless of level. Once you have a Placement Call with our German language expert, he will be able to give you more information about the general progress you will make through the level system.
